11/29/11 - St. Joseph 45, South Bend St. Joseph's 42 - @ The Bear Den
Lindsay Peirce only scored 3 points during Tuesday’s 45-42 season opening win against South Bend St. Joseph’s. Peirce’s 33 foot three pointer at the buzzer, followed her steal on an inbound pass at half court was the biggest points of the game. LeAnne Priebe had 13 to lead the Bears. Lauren Brower had nine points, Christina Valentine and Erica Priebe had eight each and Jaz Williams had four.
12/2/11 - St. Joseph 58, Battle Creek Harper Creek 30 - @ The Bear Den
Erika Priebe had a game high 16 points to lead the Bears over Battle Creek Harper Creek 58-30 at the Bear Den. Jaz Williams added 12 points and Izzy Knuth added 10 off the bench for the Lady Bears who handed Harper Creek their only regular season loss a year ago. LeAnne Priebe had eight, Christina Valentine secord seven, Lauren Brower had four and Lindsay Peirce had 1.
12/6/11 - St. Joseph 76, Kalamazoo Central 40 - @ Zuidema Gym, Kalamazoo Central
Erika Priebe was one of four Lady Bears in double figures as the Lady Bears improved to 3-0 on the season with a 76-40 win at Kalamazoo Central. She finished with 16 points, Lauren Brower had 13, Lindsay Peirce had 12, and Jaz Williams had 11 were the Lady Bears in double figures. Christina Valentine had 9, LeAnne Priebe had 8, Izzy Knuth had 3, Sam Taylor and Lauren LaBaumbard had 2 each.
12/9/11 - St. Joseph 55, Portage Northern 26 - @ The Igloo, Portage Northern
The Lady Bears improved to 4-0 on the season and 2-0 in the West Division with a 55-26 win at Portage Northern. Erika Priebe scored all 11 of her points in the second half to lead both teams in scoring, in fact nine different St. Joe players found the score sheet in the win. St. Joe led 20-4 after the first quarter and 35-11 at the half and never trailed.
12/16/11 - St. Joseph 50, Niles 28 - @ The Bear Den
St. Joseph broke a 34 game losing streak to Niles dating back to the mid 90's as St. Joe defeated the Vikings 50-28 at the Bear Den. Erika Priebe had 9 points to lead the balanced Bears attack, Christina Valentine had 8, along with Lindsay Peirce who left the game due to an injury in the third quarter.
12/20/11 - St. Joseph 58, Edwardsburg 42 - @ Edwardsburg
St. Joseph improved to 6-0 on the season with a 58-42 win over Edwardsburg. St. Joe got 14 points from Jaz Williams, and 13 apiece from Christina Valentine and Erika Priebe. Ashley Streb had 16 points for the Eddies who fall to 3-3 on the season.
12/22/11 - St. Joseph 54, Buchanan 24 - @ Buchanan
St. Joseph jumped out to a 27-8 lead after the first quarter and coasted to a 54-24 win at Buchanan. LeAnne Priebe had 14 points to lead the Lady Bears, her sister Erika had 11 points. St. Joseph improved to 7-0 on the season
12/23/11 - St. Joseph 41, Three Rivers 22 - @ Three Rivers
The Lady Bears turned up the pressure on defense in the second half and held the defending Class B Runner Up Three Rivers to 7 points in the second half as the Lady Bears won the battle of unbeatens 41-22. LeAnne Priebe had 16 to lead St. Joe, Christina Valentine returned to the lineup after missing the previous game and had 12. St. Joe improves to 8-0.
1/6/12 - St. Joseph 61, Portage Central 39 - @ Portage Central
The Lady Bears improved to 9-0 on the season after beating Portage Central 61-39. Leanne Priebe was one of three Lady Bears in double figures scoring 19, Erika Priebe had 13 and Christina Valentine added 10 points.
1/17/12 - St. Joseph 71, Benton Harbor 56 - @ The Bear Den
Leanne Priebe had a game high 26 points while her sister Erika Priebe had 22 points as St. Joe defeated Benton Harbor 71-56. The Lady Bears outscored Benton Harbor 22-10 in the third quarter. The Lady Bears improve to 10-0 on the season and 5-0 in the Big 16 West. Christina Valentina also added 11 points for St. Joe. Kalabria Gondrezick had 24 points for the Tigers fall to 4-5 and 2-4 in the Big 16 West.
1/20/12 - St. Joseph 38, Lakeshore 25 - @ Lakeshore
The Lady Bears improved to 11-0 on the season with a 38-25 victory at Lakeshore last week, Leanne Priebe had 13 points to lead St. Joe, Erika Priebe added 11 points for the 4th ranked Lady Bears. The Lady Bears never trailed as they improved to 6-0 in West Division play. Lakeshore falls to 8-3 and 3-3 in Division play.
1/27/12 - St. Joseph 66, Portage Northern 41 - @ The Bear Den
Three different Lady Bears scored a game high 11 points as St. Joe defeated Portage Northern 66-41 here in the Bear Den on Friday Night. Christina Valentine, LeAnne Priebe, and Jaz Williams each had 11 points for St. Joe, who broke the game open by outscoring Northern 26-7 in the second quarter.
1/30/12 - St. Joseph 50, Brandywine 44 - @ The Bear Den
St. Joe improved to 13-0 after rallying from a nine point deficit at halftime and outscored Brandywine 23-9 in the third quarter to defeat the Bobcats 50-44 at the Bear Den. Leanne Priebe and Christina Valentine had 13 points each to lead the Lady Bears, Jaz Williams added 11. Brandywine’s Carlie Newman had 21 points for the Bobcats, who came into the game ranked #1 in Class C.
1/31/12 - St. Joseph 65, Kalamazoo Central 50 - @ The Bear Den
St. Joe had 5 players in double figures as the Lady Bears remained unbeaten after a 65-50 win over Kalamazoo Central. Erika Priebe had 19, Christina Valentine had 12, Lindsay Peirce had 11, and Lauren Brower and Jaz Williams had 10 each. The win gives the Bears a 14-0 record, 8-0 in Big 16 West Division play.
